This next-generation control knob replaces traditional rotary encoders with a brushless motor.
Powered by a FOC (Field-Oriented Control) algorithm, the motor delivers precise torque control—allowing the knob to simulate different tactile responses and resistance behaviors with remarkable accuracy.
Depending on how you use it, the knob can be configured with different feels.
Currently, it supports three practical modes and two playful modes.
Detent Mode
A familiar feel, similar to a traditional rotary encoder, with clearly defined steps.
Thanks to the brushless motor and a high-precision Hall position sensor, detents are no longer fixed. You can freely adjust both the strength of each detent and the engagement angle.
Resistance Mode
As the rotation speed increases, resistance increases accordingly.
This dynamic resistance provides a more stable and controlled feel during fast adjustments, making precise operation easier.
Smooth Mode
The brushless motor adds a subtle “assist,” allowing the knob to rotate effortlessly and smoothly.
This mode is ideal for scenarios that require quick, continuous rotation.
Spin Mode
The knob simulates the continuous rotation of a DJ turntable.
You can trigger functions by rotating the knob forward or backward.
Return Mode
The knob always returns to a centered position.
No matter how far or how many turns you rotate it, once released, it smoothly snaps back to its original position.
